We are very excited to announce the new release we are launching today! Our product and engineering teams have been hard at work to add in a number of new features, most of which relate to the work we are doing with real estate agents as per our recent press in BRW.
These features will mean Planwise is not only an amazing technology that will help people but can also help the Real Estate agent generate new leads, stay engaged with existing leads and be talking to their clients that are ready to move forward with the next property transaction.
Putting a Face to the Name
The introduction of the “Connect” feature brings the agent directly into the home buyer’s experience of using Planwise to plan for their new home. Clients who may be a few months out from buying, will continue to see the agent who originally provided them with the awesome planning tool that is helping them make homeownership a reality – Planwise. “Connect” keeps the agent’s brand front of mind as they think about buying a house, and gives them the ability to get in touch with their agent the moment they are ready to move ahead, directly through the tool. The agent has no visibility to any of the data that clients enter into Planwise.
The Connect Dashboard
The Connect Dashboard can include details for agents, brokers, lenders, or any combination of the three! Whoever provides Planwise on their website, blog or a direct link, will be the primary connection for the user. As a connection, agents/brokers/lenders get to display a photo and description of their choice. This makes sure that users are reminded when they come back to the tool that this agent is the best choice and the one they should get in touch with.
Here come the cool part; along with custom photos and descriptions, each connection has a call button. This call button can be linked to a mobile, office, or land line and will place a call directly between the client and the agent. Planwise places the call to facilitate a connection right in the crucial point in time that they are nearing their real estate transaction.
When someone comes to Planwise on an agent or brokerage’s website – whether finding it organically, referred to the tool by their agent, or driven via marketing efforts – and chooses to save their data and plans, their email address is shared back to the agent as a lead. Since registering for Planwise only requires an email address and is free to the user, the onboarding process is extremely quick and easy. Our system will automatically send a notification email to the agent who is providing Planwise moments after someone signs up. These are very high quality leads because they are people who are actively seeking and engaging tools to map out the purchase of a home. As someone who is serious about the process of becoming a homeowner, this is someone who could greatly benefit from hearing from a real estate agent.
User-Friendly Reminders that Promote Accuracy
Part of what makes Planwise so great is the tool’s ability to calculate and visually display people’s finances projecting forward into the future. Obviously the more accurate all Current Finances are, the more valuable the projections of the plans that are add in become. Now when someone logs back into their Planwise account to check out how things are lining up and do some more planning, they will be prompted to update their current bank balance if it hasn’t been updated in 30 days or more. Looking forward at all the things we want to do becomes all the more real when we have an accurate starting point. The good old saying “you don’t know where you’re going unless you know where you’ve been” says it all.
Keep it Social
Planwise is offered in 16 different currencies that are most used and most highly requested by our users. But what happens if you’re an international user and use a currency that we don’t offer? – you get to Tweet about it! Our currency drop down menu now has an option for “Your currency not shown?” which prompts you to Tweet us to let us know that you would like to use Planwise in a different currency. Of course you don’t have to share this if you don’t want to, but we think it’s kind of fun. Feel free to send us a direct email to email@example.com to request a specific currency.
