Over the course of the next two months, we will be launching a pilot with a handful of agents based out of the Berkeley regional office of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Mason McDuffie. Their office is committed to providing their agents with the industry’s top tools and training to succeed. As an emerging Real Estate technology, we are very excited to be working with this team.
What Does a Planwise Pilot Look Like?
Every agent gets a unique version of the Planwise tool which they can embed in their website, blog, Facebook page, marketing emails, and send directly to existing and potential clients. For the participating agents this means
- Receiving notifications and email leads in real time as people register to save their data with Planwise
- A customized version of Planwise including our “Connect” feature, which includes the agent’s photo, contact details, and even a call button that places a call directly to the agent from the client via Planwise
- The ability to embed the tool on their sites and within any of their listings (click the green button in this demo!)
- Agents can use Planwise directly with clients and/or offer the tool as a self-serve resource – we all know Gen Y home buyers love these
- Agents can preset certain fields within Planwise so when a client clicks through from a listing these variables are pre-populated (purchase price, default date, interest rate, term of mortgage etc…)
Working with Lenders
Planwise is the perfect tool to add a deeper level of understanding to a conversation built on numbers and paperwork. Lenders can work directly with home buyers using Planwise to ensure that they are confident and knowledgeable about the transaction they are stepping into.
If Planwise is provided to a client by an agent who has a preferred lender they work with, the client can connect directly to the lender in the tool. At the point in the transaction lifecycle when a home buyer wants to speak to a lender, they can simply go back into the “Connect” feature in Planwise to get in touch about financing their real estate transaction.
We are pleased to be working with the team at Better Homes and Garden Mason McDuffie and we will be working closely with their agents and management team to ensure Planwise is successful for their clients, agents and the brokerage as a whole. Both companies will be tracking and measuring engagement and growth analytics to define and measure success – its great to see the real estate industry applying scientific methodology as technology becomes an increasingly important part of the industry.
Pilots like this are the first of many steps along our journey towards making Planwise a technology that every agent, broker, and home buyer uses.
A special thanks to Davey Cetina, Business Development at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Mason McDuffie, for working with us to bring our technology to the agents and clients in the Berkeley regional office. He has a passion for working towards modernizing the real estate industry for the benefit of agents and their clients.
As a member of the NAR REach™ class of 2013, Planwise is being incubated into the Real Estate Industry as a planning tool offered to REALTORS® to embed on their websites and provide to clients. The tool serves as a helpful resource that home buyers can use to plan their real estate investment.
Functionally, Planwise allows users to project into their finances into the future and add in any number of future plans, such as: buying a house, having kids, paying for a college education, or even the possible loss of a job. Visually displaying these life events on a responsive graph, allows people to understand the capabilities and constraints that they have moving forward with such an undertaking as buying a home.
Agents use Planwise to:
Sit with clients and explore various price points, purchase dates and mortgage rates
Recommend clients to build confidence of their purchase in the comfort of their own home with Planwise on the agent’s website
Allow the resource to draw in new prospective clients who come across the tool on their website and engage in the planning process on their own.
If you work in a real estate office in the US and would like to run a pilot of your own with us, we would love to work with you. Please get in touch by emailing us!
